InterContinental Abu Dhabi

Aswell as an impressive iftar offering at Selections (price per person 175++) why not take in the bobbing boats at the marina-side Saharaa Tent for suhour too? The spacious, air-conditioned pavilion will come to life this Ramadan with live oud music, Darwish dancing and plenty of board games. Choose from a variety of Arabic plates including Emirati specialties and Lebanese dishes à la carte. The Saharaa Tent is open from 9pm to 3am with a cover charge of AED 47 ++ inclusive of Ramadan condiments.

Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

Enjoy your suhour in style at the Ritz-Carlton’s expansive Ramadan tent. The garden-facing marquee offers covered outdoor seating where diners can enjoy an à la carte selection of Arabic and Mexican specialties. A live oud and kanoon band will set the atmosphere as guests mingle over shisha and board games. Open from 7.30pm to 2am with a cover charge of AED 55 ++ on weekdays and AED 75 ++ on Thursdays and Fridays.

City Seasons Al Hamra

Nestled in downtown Abu Dhabi, City Seasons Al Hamra offers guests a casual suhour throughout the Holy Month. Enjoy a set menu with family and friends in the hotel’s New Season Restaurant for just AED 50 ++. The hotel’s sister property in the Garden City, City Seasons Al Ain, also offers a family-friendly suhour set menu for AED 50 ++.

Sheraton Abu Dhabi 

Enjoy your pre-dawn meal with friends and family at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi’s Bravo restaurant. Taste a selection of Arabic snacks and refreshments including mezze, mixed grill, shawarma, arayes, falafel and Arabic sweets while soaking up the oriental atmosphere. Sit back with an aromatic shisha and enjoy your favourite Ramadan TV programmes or challenge friends to a game of cards.

Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara

Keep your cool on The Pool Deck at Eastern Mangroves in the hotel’s dedicated suhour and shisha space complete with outdoor air conditioning. Take in the peaceful views while you enjoy shisha and a variety of flavourful dishes straight off the menu. No cover charge applies. The Pool Deck is open daily throughout Ramadan from sunset to 2am.

Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi

Experience a traditional suhour at the Holiday Inn’s Hubbly Bubbly tent. Enjoy a selection of authentic dishes including dates, juices, labneh, ful medames, Arabic sausages, traditional sweets, mouhalabieh and more. Hubbly Bubbly is open from sunset until late. Entrance is free but a minimum spend of AED 75 ++ applies, which is inclusive of food.

The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa

The Westin’s authentic Moroccan restaurant, Agadir, serves a delightful suhour for you to enjoy with family and friends. Guests can opt for a set menu at AED 150 ++ or order à la carte. After your meal, enjoy a shisha on the open terrace with pool and garden views. Agadir is open daily from 7.30pm to 2am. For those wanting to gather large groups, the hotel hosts banquets for over 40 people with suhour menus ranging from AED 150 ++ to AED 240 ++.

Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche

Head to the Layali El Corniche tent at Chill’O Pool Bar from 11pm to 4am, where you can listen to the authentic oud player, have henna and enjoy seasonal delicacies. Entry into the tent is AED 100 ++ on weekdays or AED 110 ++ on weekends. Downstairs, Le Café serves light late-night snacks including Turkish coffee, specialty teas, sandwiches and French and Arabic pastries between 7pm and 3am. Or enjoy an à la carte meal from The Corniche restaurant from 11pm to 4am.
