Abu Dhabi Week took a short break and experienced the Hili Rayhaan by Rotana in the Garden City
Al Ain, also known as the Garden City of the emirate, welcomed the opening of the second Rotana hotel this February, with the unique attraction of a connecting mall on offer for its guests. We spent the weekend at the new location and sampled the peace and tranquility of the new Hili Rayhaan hotel.
Arriving at the hotel, friendly staff and an inviting lobby area greeted us; a gentle simmering of chatter filled the room as we checked in. The hotel offers 254 rooms, which either face the swimming pool area at the back of the hotel, or the stunning surrounding mountains – either way, you’ll be suitably pleased with your morning view.
The hotel houses a start-of-the-art gymnasium, kitted out with the latest equipment along with an impressive TRX exercise room. So, as our guest resided to the pool area, we decided to work up a sweat in the impressive facility. Bringing the kids with you? The hotel provides swimming classes, a babysitter and other dedicate kids activities if you need time for yourself.
The adjoining mall, Wahat Hili Mall is home to 160 outlets where all your shopping needs can be met. Nip next door and buy a new outfit for dinner, a gift for friends back in the capital or even relax with a coffee and newspaper.
Elements, the all-day dining restaurant serves up a glutinous selection of dishes, offering Arabic mezzeh, Italian pastas and sauces, tender meats and fresh fish options. The restaurant also has an outside eating area where you can continue to enjoy the relaxed ambience of the hotel.
