The highly anticipated Yasalam 2014 has finally been announced and we’re happy!
As Formula One fever hits the capital, residents and visitors eagerly await the line-up of after-race concerts and this year is no disappointment.
On 20th November, four of the Arab world’s most sought after stars come together on the stage. Tamer Hosny, Carole Samaha, Fayez Alsaeed and Mohammed Assaf serenade race ticket-holders to kick off the concert series.
Voted the world’s number one DJ for five years, Dutch sensation Armin Van Buuren will have audiences dancing the night away on 21st November with a customised show exclusively for Yasalam.
If you’re lucky enough to have a race ticket for 22nd November, you’ll be happy because Pharrell Williams is taking the stage with hits like ‘Come get it bae’ and ‘Marilyn Monroe’.
Closing the after-race concert series is legendary rock band The Who. The iconic troupe will kick off their world tour, WHO HITS 50, with their capital concert on 23rd November.
The community-focused Yasalam festival also brings a series of free concerts and activities to the Corniche and the city. Don’t miss the colourful art workshops, F1 inspired simulations and driver autograph sessions.
The line-up for the annual Beats on the Beach is yet to be announced.
