Born in Pescia, Italy, Bartolini is the youngest Italian chef, at 33 years old, to earn two Michelin stars.

“My vision for the menu is to create contemporary dishes with classic flavours of my home country,” said Bartolini, whose role at Roberto’s includes advising, creating and designing new dishes for the menu.

Roberto’s Abu Dhabi is set to open in the first quarter of 2016 at The Galleria on Maryah Island. It will be the restaurant’s second branch in the UAE, with the other located in DIFC, Dubai.
