Team Abu Dhabi Week is ready – are you?

The Abu Dhabi Striders 10K and Half Marathon is only a few days away, so Team Abu Dhabi Week is training hard. While you’re running the roads of the capital, keep these tips in mind to stay safe:

  • Watch out for cyclists: Especially if you run along the Corniche or run with music, be aware of cyclists coming up behind you and stay to the right.
  • Run facing traffic: You can never assume that a driver sees you, so make sure to watch out for cars and trucks, especially if you run in Khalifa City A or anywhere else without sidewalks.
  • Always carry ID: Accidents happen – if you can’t carry a mobile phone, at least make sure someone can identify you in case of an emergency.

If you didn’t sign up for Team Abu Dhabi Week, you can still help us support our charity, the Special Care Centre, by making a donation on race day. Come by the Corniche and bring your dirhams for the very special prize giveaway!
