Team Abu Dhabi Week wants you!

We’re running the Abu Dhabi Striders 10k/half marathon 5th November, and we’d like you to run with us. Join Team Abu Dhabi Week before 30th September and help us raise money for the Special Care Centre. AED 15 of your registration fee will go towards the Special Care Centre, and you’ll get our specially designed team race t-shirt. Registration ends 30th September.

Learn how to run with Original Fitness Company

Original Fitness Co. is starting its Run Fitness classes on Abu Dhabi Corniche this coming Monday 27th of
September at 6am.

What: Run Fitness
When: Mondays 6am, Wednesdays 7:30pm, Fridays 6am
Where: Abu Dhabi Corniche next to Spinneys khalidiya
Cost: 300 AED for 1 month or 50 AED Casual Session.

Corey Oliver, managing director of Original Fitness Company, explains the new programme:

“This new goal orientated running session aims to get you through something you have never done before and
in some cases something you never thought you could do. Whether you’re looking to run a 5km, 10km, 21km
or 42km road race, we are here to help you achieve that goal. We can coach you to improve time over distance
and/or we can provide the friendly nurturing environment that you require to improve your running standard
within a group.

“Our coaching team have a vast experience and will ensure that you have everything you need to help you on
your way to that first road race or marathon, we will help with administration and keep you up to date with
events and even enter as a team in some events to ensure everyone has the support they need.

“Run Fitness sessions are conducted in a running club atmosphere that is catered for all fitness levels. We
provide substantial, cutting-edge running sessions for the person who has never run before to a veteran road
runner. Our specific Run Fitness sessions consist of interval, long distance, speed, power, plyometric and
Fartlek running sessions. In turn we will also help you to develop your endurance, breathing pattern, running
gait and running form in order to reach your specific goals.”
