Sinking to a new dimension
Surely, everybody knows the story?
Titanic is an epic tale of star-crossed lovers on the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic. When young drifter Jack wins passage on the ship with a lucky hand in poker, he sets sail for America and meets Rose, a beautiful debutante. Jack saves Rose from jumping into the icy waters below and the couple promptly fall in love. However, after hitting a massive iceberg, the ship quickly takes on water and begins its fateful descent into the freezing cold depths of the Atlantic.
Near, far, wherever they are, will the young lover’s hearts go on?
As dreadful as another post conversion of a blockbuster into 3D may sound, this is actually about as good as it gets. James Cameron’s epic creation shines – both visually and audibly, it is a stunning achievement and remains a technological and artistic wonder.
All doubts can be thrown overboard – the legend of the Titanic will go on and on.
3D was done in a good way and added to the romance and emotions it already had.
8/10 my rating for it
