Dear Abu Dhabi Week,
I have lived in Abu Dhabi for the past four years and there is nothing so informative in Abu Dhabi about Abu Dhabi as Abu Dhabi Week. You people are doing such a great job, and I hope to read your magazine for many years to come. It would be very helpful if you could kindly provide me with information on where in Abu Dhabi I could buy DIY solar kits. I want to teach energy conservation to my daughter by building some toys along with her.
Thank you, Harsha

Editor: Thanks so much for reading Harsha! While we’re not sure exactly what they have in stock, Magrudy’s in Al Wahda Mall carries all kinds of hands-on activity kits for kids – you might also check at Toys R Us at Meena Port or Early Learning Centre in Marina Mall. You might also want to consider the guys at Mad Science – these kid friendly scientists conduct after school activities throughout the academic year, but they also do parties and other events in which kids get to try all kinds of cool science experiments. Their website is www.madscience.org/uae. Good luck!

Have your say
