Dear Abu Dhabi Week
Am I the only one excited about the whole F1 festival line up this year? There doesn't seem to be the same amount of hype surrounding it all in the same way there was last year: come on Abu Dhabi – let’s show the world how great our capital is and what great events we host!
Amit Kumar

Editor: The hype has been building gradually but it's all about to come to life. It's about three weeks to the Grand Prix and Yasalam is starting this week, with more artists announced including the special, exclusive concerts at The Yas Hotel by the Sugababes, Gabrielle and Corrine Bailey Rae. And don't forget, Yas Island continues to offer more from next week when Ferrari World opens!

Dear Abu Dhabi Week
Thank you for a great magazine; I have lived in Abu Dhabi with my family for seven years and always find something new when I get my copy every week. Your recent series on Abu Dhabi 2030 was one of the most informative pieces I have read on the plan and has really given me a better insight into how the Emirate is changing, and the way the government is executing and planning the growth, makes me proud to call Abu Dhabi ‘home’.
Kylie Mills

Editor: Thank you Kylie; it is great to hear thoughts from our readers’ (and it never hurts to hear positive feedback!) One of our priorities as Abu Dhabi’s weekly community read is to inform our reader’s about their city – we hope to do plenty more of these types of features in the future.

Have your say
