Dear Abu Dhabi Week,
I was privileged to visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque recently and it was indeed a very pleasant experience. I am a not a Muslim and yet when you are there you will not feel any isolation nor indifference. Everyone makes an effort to make everybody feel at ease. Indeed you can really say that God is in that place, and everybody is equal in the hands of God.

Dear Abu Dhabi Week,
Your recent piece (Vol 3 Issue 32) entitled "It's all about sharing ideas" was superbly written! Thank you. However, the programme mentioned in the piece ("USRP") is incorrect. The UAE interns are actually participating in NASA "EAP" (Education Associates Program).

Editor: Apologies for the confusion. We meant to imply that EAP was similar to the US-focused Undergraduate Student Research Project internship programme, but this could have been explained more clearly. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
Dear Abu Dhabi Week,
In Issue 32 you resolved, at the instigation of a letter writer, to monitor the clampdowns on both smoking in malls and on plastic bags. Abu Dhabi Week issue 33 was presented in ... a plastic bag. To misquote the recycling merchants of my youth: Any old irony?

Editor: These things take time, unfortunately.
