Hindu temple: “Is any community hall or temple available in Abu Dhabi for doing Hindu Prayers?” writes Ganesh. We know of no existing Hindu temples in Abu Dhabi but there must be a suitable space somewhere in the city that could be used for prayer; any suggestions?

Korean restaurant: A while ago we asked whether Abu Dhabi had a genuine Korean restaurant. A number of readers responded with what appears to the sole example of authentic Korean catering here – Hankook Restaurant (tel 02 642 3399 and 050 614 2513) is across the street from Al Wahda Mall, off 4th just past 11th en route to Dubai, next to a small Spinneys and across from a taxi stand, located in the area behind Fuala chocolates and the mobile phone shops on Defence Road (which as you may have guessed is a compilation of different descriptions from readers). “The price is affordable and the food is pretty good for those aching for a taste of Korea,” said one report. And “don’t try the kimche unless your tongue is 100 percent fireproof – if you do feel adventurous, ensure you have an extinguisher in the vicinity,”
said another.

Metallic paper: This is a slightly weird one – a reader needs some smallish samples of metallicised paper or thin card for use in an artwork. It seems such a trivial request, and it is the kind of thing that seems easy to come by in stationary stores or arts and crafts shops in other countries – but we’re having real difficulty locating anything similar in Abu Dhabi.
