Careem, the Middle East’s leading “Everything App,” has announced that it will deliver Apple’s newly launched iPhone 17 range and Apple Watches to customers across the UAE in less than an hour.

The service, available through Careem’s Quik Electronics platform, promises doorstep delivery of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, Apple Watch Series 11, and Apple Watch Ultra 3. Customers can also order the latest AirPods Pro 3, MacBooks, and other premium tech products.

The launch, which coincides with Apple’s official release of the new devices, makes Careem the only platform in the UAE currently offering one-hour delivery of the iPhone 17.

Chase Lario, Vice President of Groceries at Careem, said:

“This is the fastest way to get the new iPhone in the UAE: no queues, no waiting. Whether you’re upgrading your phone or gifting a loved one, Quik Electronics delivers the latest tech in under an hour, right from the Careem app. We’re proud to bring this level of convenience to our customers.”

Free delivery for Careem Plus members

Careem Plus subscribers will benefit from free delivery on all iPhone 17 and Apple Watch orders, in addition to priority customer support. The membership service, which costs AED 19 per month, already offers unlimited free delivery and exclusive savings across Careem’s food, grocery, rides, and home services.

According to the company, Careem Plus members save an average of AED 300 each month through discounts and cashback. These include up to 50% off dining bills, ride-hailing savings, and reductions on home cleaning and laundry services.

Expanding electronics convenience

Quik Electronics, launched to meet growing demand for rapid delivery of premium tech, already delivers laptops, gaming gear, smartphones, and other electronics in under 60 minutes. All items purchased through the service include a manufacturer’s warranty and are eligible for free returns within 24 hours, provided packaging remains intact and unopened.

Careem said the combination of speed, reliability, and warranty-backed purchases differentiates Quik Electronics from standard courier services and traditional retail queues.

Changing consumer habits

The move reflects shifting consumer expectations in the UAE, where convenience and immediacy are becoming central to shopping behaviour. With Apple product launches often marked by long lines at retail stores, Careem is positioning its service as an alternative for customers unwilling to wait.

The company added that the ability to order Apple’s latest devices directly through the Careem app represents a “milestone in on-demand electronics delivery” for the region.

The iPhone 17 range is available from Friday, 19 September, with one-hour delivery accessible via the Quik Electronics tab on the Careem home screen.
