Ready, set, go!

ready_set_03Abu Dhabi Week treated the Torokovas to a day at Ferrari World. But what did they make of it? Brona, mother of two, tells us about the family’s day out…

When did you go there?

We arrived at noon on a Saturday.

Is the place spacious enough to entertain many guests, especially during the weekend?

The theme park is big enough to accommodate a large number of visitors. Yes, the place was busy but you won’t really feel it, except when you encounter long queues on some attractions, which isn’t really a bad thing.

Which rides and attractions did you experience?

We did almost everything. My husband and our son tried Formula Rossa; my son also
did the Scuderia Challenge. The kids enjoyed Junior Grand Prix and Khalil’s Car Wash, while I had fun at the Karting Academy. We all experienced Speed of Magic, Viaggio in Italia, Tyre Twist, Bell’Italia and the Tyre Change Show.

Out of these activities, what was the highlight?

Formula Rossa, which is considered the world’s fastest roller coaster with a top speed of 240 kmh, and Viaggio in Italia. But also all the attractions that we did together as a family.

Do you have any recommendations for the theme park?

The kids were disappointed that they could not try the new attraction, Junior Training Camp, as we’re told that they need to have socks and closed shoes on. It would be great for the park to provide these as they do in the Karting Academy. I can imagine that during the summer, many visitors would be wearing sandals.

How long did you spend at the park?

Around five hours.

Would you go back?

Definitely! The kids would love to try the Junior Training Camp and my son wants to ride Formula Rossa and Scuderia Challenge again.
