Surf's up in the Western Region as the Al Gharbia Watersports Festival returns to the beaches of Mirfa. Now in its fourth year, the festival features ten days of water-fuelled fun, sandy surprises and world-class athletes. Running to 21st April, the greatest all-watersports event in the region is set to attract tens of thousands of spectators. A huge variety of competitions and activities will be on show throughout the ten day festival, including an international kiteboarding championship, surf ski kayak race, jet ski demonstrations, dragon boating, traditional and modern sailing, beach volleyball and beach football.
