Someone’s rummage is another one’s treasure - Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel & Resort will host its first indoor Second Hand Bazaar on Saturday the 17^th of September in the Arzanah Ballroom.

The bazaar is part of the “Road to Awareness 2011” fundraising initiative of Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Europe / Africa / Middle East which aims to raise US$250,000 for UNICEF’s education programmes in Pakistan and Romania where millions of children are missing out on their right to go to school.

 

On Saturday, 17^th of September, the hotel will host a unique flea market in its ballroom, selling unused hotel items as well as enabling private households to sell unwanted items. These can range from electronics to clothes, accessories, small furniture, kid’s toys or general items, as long as they are second hand and in good quality. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll around the indoor bazaar and make exciting bargains for private households.

One table booking includes two chairs and is available at 250 AED per table and 200 AED for early bookers (booking before September 8, 2011).

The table fee will directly support the charity initiative and will support 58 schools in rural Pakistan and Romania supplying them with vital equipment and education materials.
