Culture and Heritage
I could never have imagined what a great place Abu Dhabi would be. You only have to look around and you see that Abu Dhabi has so much culture and heritage. A visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque or Emirates Palace will show what monumental spectacles there are here, and there are various museums across the city.

Entertainment
Abu Dhabi boasts some of the best entertainment you will encounter! The city is constantly holding concerts and events, which means Abu Dhabi has become a real entertainment hub. Since being here I have been to the F1 Grand Prix twice, the Tennis Open and seen the likes of Prince, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Kings of Leon to name but a few!

Food
Abu Dhabi quite literally has everything on offer to tantalise any taste buds or palate – from steakhouses, for the carnivorous amongst us, to great vegetarian restaurants for the more herbatious. The hotels have some of the best restaurants I have ever visited! If hustle and bustle is more your scene then Abu Dhabi has some really funky eateries – cafés, diners and shisha bars which are not to be missed.

Sports and recreation
The sports facilities in Abu Dhabi are some of the best you will find anywhere. Since being here I play more football, tennis and squash and have had the opportunity to get into some water sports.

Progress
You get a real sense all around that Abu Dhabi is really progressing and looking to become a very friendly and welcoming place for holiday-makers and future expatriates. You don’t have to look much further than the 2030 vision for Abu Dhabi – it’s all very exciting and more cause for me to stay for a few more years at least. Abu Dhabi really has something for all.

Have your say
