Top Three...Naan Breads

Kwality
Kwality is notoriously hard to find – it’s hidden down a narrow alley just off Salam Street – but don’t give up, it’s worth the effort. They serve some of the nicest naan bread we’ve tasted in a while – cooked just how we like them, fresh from the tandoor.

Ruchi
One of many decent yet affordable curry houses in the capital, at first glance this budget Keralan restaurant in the Tourist Club area doesn’t really have anything that marks it out from the crowd. That is until you taste the food, which is so good you’d happily pay two or three times the price. Particularly worthy of mention is the deliciously soft and fluffy stuffed kulcha – pure flatbread heaven.

Afyä
We head to the all-day dining restaurant at Traders Hotel for our final choice, which is a little out of left field. Afyä apparently means healthy and their naan bread pizza with salmon and avocado is certainly that. It is also absolutely delicious and one of the best, most innovative uses of naan bread in the capital.
