Top 5 coffee shops

Sometimes the difference between a good day and a bad day can be a big ‘cuppa Joe’. Check out our favourite spots around the capital for a hit of caffeine.

Jones the Grocer
Australian coffee connoisseurs say Jones the Grocer has the best flat white in town, and we tend to believe them. You can find this coffee haven near 4th/Muroor and 15th, but rumour has it another location is coming soon to Khalifa City A.
Cost: AED 16-21

Second Cup
One of the newest coffee hot spots in the capital, Second Cup now has locations all over the Middle East and beyond. In the vicinity of the 6th/Najda Street, Second Cup delivers all the standard coffee favourites plus some interesting variations.
Cost: AED 14-20

Dôme
Dôme is a great place for a quick bite to go with your java. Made the way espresso drinks were intended, these coffees are crafted from a fine blend of four types of Arabica beans. Try a long black at Al Wahda Mall and Khalidiya Mall or enjoy free delivery.
Cost: AED 11-15

Caffè Nero
A place where the music is just as important as the coffee, Caffè Nero is home to simple espresso drinks made by the experts. Folks living on the mainland will be thrilled to hear that Caffè Nero is currently open in Mazyad Mall in Mohammed bin Zayed City and is coming soon to the new Abu Dhabi Airport Skypark Terminal 3.

La Brioche Khalifa City
This tiny new location opposite the Pink Shops in Khalifa City A has quickly become one of the most happening spots on the mainland. Pretty much any time throughout the day, you’ll find a sprinkling of folks enjoying a coffee or tea, a pastry or sandwich, upstairs or down, inside or out on the patio.
