Top five … Business lunches

There’s no shortage of top-class restaurants in Abu Dhabi but if you’ve only got an hour for lunch and you’re looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite to eat, where do you go? Abu Dhabi Week rounds up the best in the business …

Lemon Tree

The Abu Dhabi Holiday Inn is a continuously great choice for top service, quality food and value for money. Head to The Lemon Tree ‘45 in 45’ – a two-course business lunch for just AED 45 per person: if you’re not served within 45 minutes then you eat for free. Bargain.

Shang Palace

Shangri-La’s signature Chinese restaurant may not be the obvious choice for a business lunch but with an all-you-can-eat delicious menu including dim sum and some interesting desserts for just AED 88 it’s a great choice – especially when the food just keeps coming until you’re fit to burst.

Ushna

Ushna is one of our favourite Indian venues in Abu Dhabi – in fact it’s one of our favourites full stop. And now they offer a Thali style business lunch there’s even more reason to head down to the Souq Qaryat Al Beri to sample some of their delicately-spiced delights.
Cost: AED 65-85++ per person

Frankie’s

The swanky Frankie’s at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr is one of the more expensive restaurants in the capital, but they do offer a very reasonably priced two-course and three-course business lunch menu: what better reason then to sample some of their award-winning cuisine for yourself?
Cost: AED 95-125++ per person

Hickory’s

Although the stunning Yas Links golf course is a little way out of the city, there are a number of reasons why it is still worth a visit. Just one of them is the ever-changing business lunch menu at Hickory’s Sports Bar in the clubhouse – two courses and a soft drink for AED 65 per person.
