Taxi travel to and from Dubai

Sometimes it’s necessary to travel to and from Dubai, and if the bus is too slow and the car is in the garage you’ll probably have to take a taxi. The following figures are based on practical experience:

Al Ittihad Square, Abu Dhabi, to The Greens, Dubai (via silver Abu Dhabi cab, metered): cost AED 165

The Greens, Dubai to Al Ittihad Square, Abu Dhabi (via Dubai cab, metered): cost AED 255

The moral: if you’re in Dubai and need to get to Abu Dhabi, call for an Abu Dhabi cab if you can afford to wait for it.
