Summer is around the corner so if your tootsies haven't seen the light of day for while, now is the time to get them in shape for flip-flop weather. We booked into Kazumi, the new salon at the Grand Millenium Al Wahda, to get all our digits pretty.
We started with a comprehensive hand and foot scrub using Essie microdermabrasion hand and foot refiner. Newly scrubbed, we returned the moisture to our skin with EssieSpa pedicure hydro-masque, a thick mint-scented cream that left our legs soft and fragrant.
While our feet got the cream, we wiped the scrub from our hands and arms and proceeded with a comprehensive manicure. Nothing makes us feel pampered like having technicians work on both our hands and feet at the same time – especially with our busy schedule – so we relaxed while the ladies cleaned trimmed and filed away.
Time for a paraffin treatment on both our hands and feet – our digits are dipped into the warm wax then wrapped them up in plastic and booties to let the paraffin do its work. The paraffin peeled, we finished with a round of polish and left with 20 perfectly groomed nails, complete with soft skin and orderly cuticles.
Why go?
In a word, location - situated right next door to Al Wahda Mall, Kazumi is convenient no matter where you are on the island - especially with the valet.
And why not?
Kazumi is mainly a salon that focuses on just hair and nails. Want some more spa services like massages and facials? No need to worry – Zayna Spa is right down the corridor.
