So what’s the deal?
Taking the best care of yourself apparently involves two hours of utter bliss, and at the hands of the staff at super chic EPSA at The Yas Hotel it’s time worthy investing in. The Yas Detox, an ESPA signature treatment, is designed to cleanse the body inside and out, ridding you of those bad body toxins.
With a consultation to start, feet are then dipped into a bowl of mineral sea salts and essential oils that instantly leaves soles refreshed.
Stretched out on an unbelievably comfy massage bed, the treatment begins with body brushing (relaxing, rather than scratchy) and is followed by a refreshing spearmint and aloe body polish, said to invigorate the skin and mind.
A sensory overload of grapefruit, eucalyptus and cypress essential oils is then smoothed onto the skin along with mineral rich algae. You’re then wrapped in a light plastic sheet to allow the ingredients to seep into the skin, encouraging the elimination of toxins.
A cooling compress, infused with English peppermint, is then applied to the face; it’s relaxing and refreshing all at once, heightened by a therapeutic scalp massage to clear the mind.
The treatment ends with a thorough detoxifying massage; with a wonderful accuracy, knots are released, tension evaporates and there’s no excuse to leave ESPA feeling anything less than fabulous and refreshed.
