Heavenly hair spa

So what’s the deal?
To bring some life back to abused locks, check out the hot oil hair spa treatment at Jumasan in Al Raha Mall.
The treatment begins with a quick wash followed by the application of either normal or Keratin oil. In its original state, the oil is a cool, pleasantly scented paste that the technician brushes on in layers then thoroughly works through from roots to tips with a vigorous massage that includes the scalp, neck, shoulders and back.
Slicked up and hair banded, it’s off to the steamer seat. The steam session ends with a cool blast of air to seal the deal before another, more exhaustive hair wash and a cut and a blow dry.

heavenlyhair02Why go?
The perpetual blast of summer air conditioning coupled with baking direct sunlight and that wretched humidity can wreak havoc on anyone’s hair. The end result of this relaxing procedure is soft, swishy hair, moisturised and nourished. And while some hair snobs will insist you can’t get a good style for less than AED 500, we and our purses beg to differ with a really reasonable AED 80 cut.
Why not?
Perpetual construction notwithstanding, there’s still no easy way to get to Al Raha Mall. Also, this isn’t a treatment to get within hours of a big event; for one, a full face of makeup won’t survive the experience, and other than the hot oil, the stylist doesn’t use any other hair styling products.

What? Hot oil hair spa
Where? Jumasan at Al Raha Mall
The treatment: Keratin treatment followed by a cut and a blow dry
Cost: AED 150 for the normal hot oil, AED 250 for the more advanced Keratin, plus AED 80 each for cut and blow dry
We say: The hot oil treatment is excellent for anyone with dry, stressed out tresses

They are nice, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Any how, I just got the Brazillian Hair Treatment from a Salon in Abu Dhabi and it was a life changing experiencing. Good gift for my hair for Ramadan.

And Ramadan Kareem to all of you!!!
