Homely Petz
Learn your dog’s language and you’ll be better able to communicate with him – that’s the philosophy at Homely Petz. Describing themselves as dog communicators, the folks at Homely Petz will first gather an understanding of the whole picture of your current dog/human relationship. Once they’ve developed a clear plan for improvement, they will tutor and assist you and your dog in making changes to bring confidence and create a state of togetherness. Offering a range of services, including dog sitting, Homely Petz is a resource for you and your pooch. Contact them at
www.abudhabipetsitter.com.

Dogversation
Sonja Gehlsen’s Take the Lead method is recommended by both the British Veterinary Centre and the German Veterinary Centre. Relying on the man-dog relationship to guide your pet’s obedience, Sonja will help you develop your own leadership skills so that your dog will accept you as his pack leader and will do as you ask out of instinct rather than out of fear or by bribery. Sonja is currently on maternity leave but will be available again soon. To find out more, visit www.dogversation.ae.

The Falcon Hospital
Though you’d never know from its name, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital includes a Pet Care Center with a dog training facility. Their experts can teach your dog how to behave properly at home, how to follow all kinds of commands such as walking with or without a leash, how to become competitive sport racers and how to guard your home. All training classes are performed on site at the Falcon Hospital, although they also offer home training subject to availability. Find out all about the hospital and its many pet services for all sorts of animals at www.falconhospital.com.
