Thursday night is Ladies Night at this Yas Island favourite, which means free flowing bubbly concoctions for the ladies and some up-to-date cheesy tunes from Stills’ resident DJ. Think of it now – peach, blackcurrant and melon infused bubbles all night long, for free. It’s a no-brainer.
The atmosphere in Stills on a Thursday is as bubbly as the beverages, with the long bar and terrace packed full of fellow weekend revellers. The terrace tends to be for those wanting to sit down and chat or order a bite, while the main room is for those more intent on enjoying the music and letting their hair down. The restaurant at the back end of the bar is still open as well, for those who are more serious about focusing on the food.
We always opt for the terrace as even in high summer, there’s usually a nice breeze blowing in from the mangroves and (as it’s a little quieter than indoors) it’s generally more sociable. We are also addicted to the tapas on offer, in particular the chicken fingers with honey mustard – mmmm.
In short, Stills on a Thursday night promises good food, free bubbly beverages for the ladies (a cheap date night for the boys) and a lively atmosphere to get you in the mood for a relaxing weekend. Perfect.
