Abu Dhabi Emirates Natural History Group’s Gary Feulner will present a wide-ranging pictorial introduction to the geology and geography of the mountains of the UAE and the diversity of plants and animals that can be found there, including both common species that visitors to the mountains are most likely to see and rare ones that they should be on the look-out for. Along the way, he will try to indicate the many resources that exist today for the study of local natural history and also to highlight questions still to be answered.
