Thousands of children have braved a late night or two over Ramadan just to catch Bert, Ernie and the gang at Marina Mall in the hugely successful ‘Reach for the Sky’ show – a joint effort by The Emirates Foundation for Philanthropy and Sesame Workshop USA. The event, held every evening during Ramadan from 9pm to 11pm, saw young ones learn about the solar system and space through Robotics and Rockets workshops, colouring activities, a reading corner and of course plenty of fun live acts from everyone’s favourite Sesame Street characters.
