MPAC Basketball’s capital slam dunk

MPAC Sports launched their Abu Dhabi Basketball Academies in style this week with a Basketball Show at the GEMS World Academy.

All of MPACs head instructors are professional American Coaches with NCAA College basketball experience and after displaying their skills and slam dunks in front of an excited and loud crowd, children were invited to join the coaches on the courts and have a go in games and competitions.

Already successfully established in the emirate of Dubai, MPAC are now stretching their wings and  looking at launching Basketball Academies for five to 18 year olds at both the GEMS World Academy in Abu Dhabi and GEMS American Academy in Khalifa City A.

Sessions are on weekday evenings and are suitable for all abilities, with drills designed for beginners all the way to advanced players.

“MPAC Sports believe in providing kids with a route into the great sport of basketball,” said MPAC’s Luqman Rashid.

“In Abu Dhabi we have began to establish our Basketball Academies, which offer a great training schedule, the chance to improve your skills and meet lots of new friends. As they grow, MPAC will provide a basketball infrastructure of leagues and tournaments so that kids get the chance to train but also improve in competitive games.”
