PLC meets with professional club's marketing officials

The Professional League Committee (PLC) held a meeting with the Pro League Club marketing directors, in the presence of Anas Bukhash, PLC COO, and Maria Carboneras, director of marketing and communication, where they discussed many current marketing initiatives

At the start of the workshop, Anas Bukhash welcomed the attendees, indicating the importance of the meeting to be on a regular basis in order to improve marketing plans in the clubs and review the experiences in different marketing aspects.

Carboneras reviewed a study on the fans attendance since the start of the Etisalat Pro League till Round 14 of the current season, including a comparison between the attendance and the rate of increase achieved by each club.

Following that, the marketing directors of Al Jazira and Al Wasl Clubs reviewed their experiences and current activation initiatives to increase fans attendance this season as well as their upcoming plans.

Anas Bukhash, PLC COO, presented a number of projects and marketing agreements, which the PLC is working on, including a big fans project. The details of this project will be announced in the next few weeks.

Bukhash also highlighted the importance of digital media in raising the fan base of the clubs, indicating the importance of interaction with the fans.
