After successfully concluding the previous series against Sri Lanka, the Pakistan cricket team is now getting ready to host England for the Bank Alfalah presents Mobilink Jazz Cup Pakistan vs England Cricket Series

This UAE-wide series is made up of a total of three Tests, four One-Day Internationals (ODI’s) and three Twenty20 Internationals with the action shared between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The first ball will be bowled in the capital on the 25th January with the second test of the series at the Abu Dhabi Cricket stadium. This five day spectacular will then be followed by the first and second ODI on the 13th and 15th February respectively, before reaching a climax on the 27th February with the third Twenty20 International.

England are currently ranked the number one team but Pakistan are looking to close the gap and are in a confident mood. They are ranked fifth at the moment but if they come out on top against England then they would move into the top three.

The former Pakistan cricket captain, coach and team manager Intikhab Alam said the team is “very positive” about its chances against England.

“The way the team has gelled means morale is rocketing high. England are the number one Test side in the world and they will be a real test but we have enough talent to beat them,” he added.

Tickets for the upcoming One Day Internationals and Twenty20 International matches in Abu Dhabi are now available online at www.boxofficeme.com or direct from the Abu Dhabi Cricket Club and start from AED 30.
