Al Forsan International Sports Resort will soon welcome 90 show horses as part of their mission to bring the best in international sporting events to the capital. The Resort, which opened earlier this year, boasts an outstanding range of sports, fitness and leisure activities for families, industry professionals and enthusiasts as well as event planners and those in search of an exciting way to spend an afternoon.

Al Forsan has teamed up with the renowned Global Champions Tour and will bring some of the industry’s most respected show riders to Abu Dhabi as they compete for the total prize money of €400,000 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The event is sure to make a thrilling finale after what has been an extraordinary global tour across Europe and the Middle East. To add to the excitement, a €1 Million pot will also be distributed amongst the most successful riders of the year. The event will take place on the 24th November and will run for three days offering spectators the very best in equestrian entertainment.

“With its extensive indoor and outdoor sand field training areas, their fully floodlit polo field and world class stables, Al Forsan International Sports Resort is the perfect partner and we are excited to bring the GCT to Abu Dhabi”, said Jan Tops, GCT president and founder.
