Summer’s always the season for brightly coloured nail varnish. And boy, did we rock some vibrant neon shades last season.

Bumble bee yellow and turquoise were my go-to choices and they sure brightened my mood.

As the weather begins to turn and our moods tend to shift to our closets, we are also in a different mood nail-wise, looking for shades to match our fall outfit.

It’s true we do not get any harsh weather here in Abu Dhabi (no fun at all, I know), but we can sure wear fall’s trends more lightly than others, so that’s a bonus for us.

So far as trends go, dark jewel tones, tans, dark blues and military green are the fall’s ‘it’ hues. We’ve seen them at Chanel, Jason Wu and other fall fashion shows.

Which colour are you most hoping to rock?  I think I’ll stick to old faithful red for now or maybe give silver metallic a try.
