Fall does not have to be boring and designers certainly transferred some of that summer sunshine to the next season. My favourite colour is gold so you cannot blame me for falling head over heels with fall/winter’s’s hottest trend out there: all that shimmers. The perfect trend to wear this Eid, and it does not have to break your budget!

So what exactly has been glittered? Everything from shoes, clutches, dresses, and leggings, especially if it comes in metallic hues – also a huge trend this fall. Miu Miu shows us that by wearing the right accessories- their famous glittery shoes- you can totally rock this look.

How to wear this trend? Here are a few tips I picked up on my fashion quest:

1. For evening wear, pair up a sequenced dress in black or metallic with a neutral accessory. Not only will you look trendy, but elegant as well. Zara offers a great variety of budget friendly dresses and shoes. Check out a few of my favourites below.
2. If you prefer a minimalist, chic day look, then opt for a glittered accessory such as a pair of shoes or a clutch. My favourite pair has to be this season’s Miu Miu heels. The Italians never fail me. Check out their image below. Don’t they just look FAB? (Sighs).
3. But for a budget friendly pair, pop into Steve Madden’s store in Marina Mall or Al Wahda Mall, and bling your feet with their adorable gold glittery pumps, priced just below AED 300.
