Polka dots are a huge trend this summer, a trend that has been carried on to next season in every creative way. Designers like Marc Jacobs have sprinkled every from hats to hosiery with dots. Polka dots can certainly give an outfit a whole girly girl from the 1950s twist, but only if you do it right!

One tip to rock this look is not to overdo it – you don't want to damage your friends’ eye sight. Keep it simple and elegant, and stick to only one spotted item in your outfit.
