I get overly excited when I hear about a high street retailer collaborating with a high end designer. Versace’s success collaboration with H&M had the Italian design house, decide to launch a second collection this season. How cool is that? Hopefully their Abu Dhabi branch will carry the collection this time.

But what is really more exciting is when high street retailers such as River Island design an entire Spring/Summer 2012 collection that could be easily mistaken for any of the high end brands, and at a more affordable price.

When I glanced at their look book, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I want each and every piece.

So my dear readers, allow me to share with you some of River Island’s most anticipated collection items.
