Check out some of the funniest stand-up comedians straight from the UK.
If laughter is the best medicine, then Crowne Plaza’s regular stand-up comedy show Laughter Factory is sure to cure whatever ails you.
Though traditionally held at Heroe’s in the basement of Crowne Plaza on Hamdan Street, recent months have seen the shows at both Heroe’s and Stills at Crowne Plaza Yas Island.
Both venues make for a great night out, with famously fabulous comfort food like burgers and ribs, sports on the TV and DJs later in the night. Throw in three seriously funny comedians and that good night just got better.
Featuring a trio of stand-up performers straight from London’s Comedy Store, each of the two shows in the capital often draw packed houses. Even with a full house, the feel of the show is intimate and if you’re sitting on the front row don’t be surprised if you find yourself a part of the action – the quick wits on stage often draw material from bantering with the audience.
One word of warning – these shows are not for the conservative. The language and material are often ribald and very few topics are considered off limits.
The good news is that, no matter what your sense of humour, these entertainers are very good at what they do and it’s a very rare night that a comedian at the Laughter Factory fails to deliver.
