Director: Stephen Speilberg
Starring: Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, Peter Mullan

We’re not going to lie to you, take your tissues because it’s a weepy. The story is based around a horse’s epic experience during WW1. Albert (Irvine) and his beloved horse (Joey) are separated when Joey is sold to the cavalry. After being captured by the enemy and exchanged several times we begin to wonder if he will ever be reunited with his owner, and would either of them make it home alive. It is a beautiful storyline you can become emotionally involved in, a real tear-jerker. If you were a fan of Saving Private Ryan, then you will appreciate the spectacular war-scene special effects.
