Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows

Holmes and Watson are back!

It feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity for this sequel to be made and we were terribly afraid it would not match up to the first Sherlock Holmes.

Thankfully, everything we loved about the first film was there in the second; Robert Downy Jr’s narrative still accompanies the action-packed adventure and the dynamic relationship he maintains with Dr Watson (Jude Law) is better than ever. It’s the age-old tale of Hero v villain, or in this case, a slightly un-orthodox investigator and a nervous doctor take on a criminal mastermind.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson engage in dangerous antics from start to finish whilst trying to capture their evil scheming nemesis Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris) accepting the help of Holmes’ older brother (Stephen Fry).

Action-packed and celebrity filled, this film will have you leaving the cinema feeling satisfied and slightly more intelligent.
