Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II

Waving goodbye to the wizard

movie28

Director: David Yates,
Starring: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Helena Bonham Carter

Harry Potter returns to the big screen for the eighth and final instalment of JK Rowling’s magical mega-franchise in what is a monumental and utterly thrilling 3D conclusion to the most successful series of films in motion picture history.

The epic finale sees the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalate into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who will be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with the evil Lord Voldemort.

All good things must come to an end and Harry Potter fans won’t be disappointed as the series climaxes with tremendous urgency, superb spectacle and powerful, even overwhelming emotion.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have grown and matured beyond all recognition in the past decade and give their best performances here, when it really counts.

Technically too, nothing has been held back – the 3D and CGI are striking, the cinematography easily outclasses the previous movies and some of the make-up effects are simply sensational.

The final and best installment of the Potter saga, Deathly Hallows really is a “wanderful” conclusion.
