I Love You, Man

dudeweloveitPaul Rudd has been making a good case for
a leading role in recent films like Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin, and his hilarious performance in this all-American comedy confirms that he’s just the man for more leading roles in this kind of movie.
Rudd plays Peter Klaven, a big-time real estate salesman who’s got everything he could possibly hope for. It’s only when he gets engaged to his beautiful girlfriend Zooey (Jones) that he realises he’s missing one thing – male friends.
Determined to find himself a best man before the big day, Peter embarks on a mission to find himself a new friend. After a number of embarrassing incidents, Peter finds Sydney. But as the two men buddy up, Peter’s relationship with Zooey comes under strain. Can you really love your friends and your girlfriend just as much?
This cringingly accurate tale of male bonding is full of punchy one-liners and smooth comic acting from Rudd and co. Expect nothing less than the same laugh-out-loud style of Rudd’s previous performances.
