Night At The Museum 2: Battle Of The Smithsonian

alongnightDespite a sprinkling of Hollywood A-list
actors and some clever visual effects, the sequel to the 2006 minor hit Night at the Museum is probably best reserved as a weekend filler with the kids.
Ben Stiller returns to the role of Larry, a night watchman who finds himself at the centre of some unusual goings on at the Smithsonian in Washington DC.
Not only does Larry have to contend with an array of colourful, historical characters that come to life, including Amelia Earhart (Adams) and Theodore Roosevelt (Williams), but there’s an evil Pharaoh intent on causing havoc long into the night.
Don’t quite expect a history lesson or much humour as a simple plot and some weak acting from the cast will do little to stimulate anyone over the age of seven.
