It’s a grim and gritty apocalyptic tale; four friends are desperate to find a place in the world where they can escape death from a viral pandemic that is wiping out the human race. But as they speed across Southwest America, over the course of four days the group is faced with terrifying dark moral decisions that no human should have to question. In a bid to survive, they realise that their greatest threat is not the virus – but themselves.

Starkly effective and thoughtful, the film is a moody and emotion-wrought thriller – even if it is a little light on the usual zombie action of similar movies.
