Dear Abu Dhabi Week
With reference to your article ‘Keep it Clean – Home Hygiene’ [Issue 42], what is the correct answer for cleaning the chopping boards? Is it soak overnight or passing through dishwasher?
Minu

Editor: We’ve done some checking and according to the sources we saw, if you have a plastic or glass cutting board, you can put it into the dishwasher. If you have a wooden cutting board, you should scrub it with bleach or vinegar with a brush. Also, you should have one cutting board for fruits and vegetables and another one for meats – label both.

Dear Abu Dhabi Week,
I just wanted to echo your sentiments and congratulate Abu Dhabi Police on their recent Road Safety initiative. It’s the young boys driving out of control who are responsible for so many accidents, so they are the perfect group to target. Congratulations AD Police!
