This is in response to a reader’s query about Quran classes for women here in Abu Dhabi [Vol 4, Issue: 16]. I know of two Mosques that offer Quran classes. One is right behind the New Medical Center, in Madinah Zayed, and the other is behind the buildings adjacent to Lake Park. Hope this helps! Thank You

Dear Abu Dhabi week Team,

First of all I would like to say that I love the ADW magazine and when I do my shopping Thursday evening I always looking forward to picking up the new weekly edition. Today I would like to ask for some help. I am searching for two things in Abu Dhabi: a proper Olympic-size swimming pool and a tanning studio. Warm regards,

Editor: Thanks for your letter Tina. As far as I’m aware there are Olympic-sized swimming pools at the Al Jazira Club and the Officer’s Club. Both are open to the public. In terms of tanning salons most just offer spray tans. We like the Forever Young Salon at Hilton Abu Dhabi. If anyone knows of any salons offering sun bed tanning sessions please let us know.
