New models and strong SUV performance boost new product sales
Mercedes-Benz Middle East & Levant has carried the momentum from the start of its 125th Anniversary year into Q3 with monthly sales reaching a high last experienced in 2008.
Mercedes-Benz’ impressive roster of new models launched this year, including SLK Roadster, C-Coupe, CLS and C-Class Facelift have contributed to very positive sales while Mercedes-Benz’ SUVs too have performed strongly, with sales up 18 percent across all models in the range.
In addition, the executive E-Class sedan and the world’s best selling luxury sedan, the S-Class have also come to the fore, driven mainly by the strong product offering of the Business Edition and AMG Sports Package options available.
Looking across the region, the three-pointed star shines brightest in Qatar and Kuwait, where Mercedes-Benz is outperforming both markets, while Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi retain their strong market position with consistent sales performance. In spite of difficult market environments in Lebanon and Jordan, these have not hindered further solid sales figures for Mercedes-Benz in the Levant.
Frank Bernthaler, director, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East & Levant said: “As we head into the final quarter of our anniversary year, we are delighted to record our best month since 2008. We must congratulate our regional distributor network for achieving this and underline the importance of compliance in everything we do, which has further catalysed our sales success while supporting our long-term goal to achieve profitable growth and higher customer satisfaction.”
