During the first days of the Liwa Date Festival, head chefs of major hotels and restaurants in Abu Dhabi will be competing with dishes made using local dates. They will be judged on a starter, main course and dessert and will create and present their culinary creations at the Liwa Date Festival from 3pm to 6pm on competition days.

On 14th July see what the chefs from Beach Rotana Hotel come up with at 5pm and chefs from Radisson Blu Yas Island at 6pm. On 15th July chefs from the Fairmont will present at 5pm with Abu Dhabi In-Flight Catering at 6pm. The grand finale is taking place on Saturday 16th July where the three finalists will present between 4pm and 6pm.
