Friday 6th May: PERWAKILAN Charity Bazaar (Embassy of Malaysia)

The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ladies Association of Abu Dhabi chapter (or PERWAKILAN) will be hosting a Charity Bazaar at the Malaysian Embassy (19th/Al Saada Street) from 5pm to 9pm on 6th May. Sample authentic Malaysian cuisine prepared by members of Abu Dhabi’s Malaysian community, take part in the silent auction, enter the raffle draw, enjoy cultural dance performances and a mini-art exhibition showcasing works by Malaysian artists, shop for costume jewellery and Malaysian crafts or pick up a bargain in the yard sale.

There will also be activities for the kids, including face painting! The Gulf for Good team will also be at the Bazaar, raising awareness for the next G4G charity expedition – The Wilds of Borneo Challenge – which will take place in July. Funds raised during the Bazaar will go to organisations nominated by PERWAKILAN Abu Dhabi which primarily provide humanitarian and medical aid to survivors of war, conflict and natural disasters as well as under-privileged children.
