The much anticipated Market@Masdar City is taking place this Friday (29th) 10am to 5pm at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MI) Campus. Free to the public, this street fair promises something for the whole family, including an organic market and entertainment and games for the kids. Everyone will get a kick out of the futuristic electric driverless pod cars – the Personal Rapid Transport (PRT) – which will ferry guests to and from the MI Campus. Director of Masdar City Alan Frost said “Masdar City is open to the public and is a living example of what Abu Dhabi can achieve and its commitment to sustainable living.” The market will include organic food from Abu Dhabi farms, organic beauty and spa products, recycled stationary, arts, crafts and jewellery. Along with the children’s entertainment section, there will be henna designs and face painting.
