In the second of this season’s three Yas Island Show Weekends, Flash invites you to “do somewhere out there” with Thirty Seconds to Mars. Brothers Jared and Shannon Leto (the former a Hollywood actor) formed the Los Angeles band in 1998 and have had various members come and go. The current line-up has been together since 2007 and consists of lead singer and songwriter Jared (who also plays rhythm guitar), Shannon on drums and Tomo Mili?evi? on lead guitar and keyboards.

Thirty Seconds have released three studio albums to date – Thirty Seconds to Mars in 2002, A Beautiful Lie in 2005 and This is War in 2009 – and have sold more than 3.5 million albums worldwide. Their music videos have won numerous awards, and with good reason: A Beautiful Lie was filmed 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle and From Yesterday was the first American music video ever shot in the People’s Republic of China. With nearly 500 shows around the world under their belts (and that’s only since the release of A Beautiful Lie in 2005), they are now bringing their This is Mars album tour show to Abu Dhabi.
