4th March: Zayed Sports City 10k Fun Run

Abu Dhabi Striders is a non-profit, voluntary club that was established in 1984 and has been running – every week since 1992. Every year the Striders host a 10K run, a half-marathon and a cross-country event – as well as helping organise and create running events with other organisations across the Abu Dhabi community. This season’s 10K is fast approaching! In aid of the School for Special Needs, Friday’s unique run takes place in Zayed Sports City. Starting and finishing at Haddins, the course takes runners past the Abu Dhabi Tennis Centre, Zayed Bowling Centre, the Ice Rink and across the turf of Zayed Sports Stadium. The course is accessible for most people of different abilities and there is no excuse for friends and family not to come along and support the runners – spectators can enjoy breakfast at the Zayed Sports City Clubhouse while cheering on the participants. The race begins at 7am and the registration fee includes refreshments and a race T-shirt. Number collection is on the day. For more information visit: www.abudhabistriders.com
